“I’m an ex-military brat who never had a ‘hometown.’ But living around the world gave me a unique insight into people and places, and for that I’ll always cherish my upbringing as an Air Force dependent. My love for radio started young, and by my teenage years I knew that’s what I wanted to do—either that or having some kind of profession in the world of music. I even worked music retail for a while and had a 20 year stint as a mobile DJ. God blessed me, because I was fortunate to find professions that I really enjoyed. Outside of radio, my interests include long distance running, collecting hard-to-find-music, and a rabid passion for my favorite football team, The Indianapolis Colts. My family is made up of my wife of 21 years, Sandy, and our two daughters, Sara and Sabrina, who are both teenagers. We also have a dog named Sophia. My radio gig is pretty much like a hobby, and few people can say that about their careers…”
