Time to drop the puck on the Kingsford hockey season. The Flivvers open at home tonight at the Mountain View Ice Arena taking on Escanaba. Game time is 5:30pm. Then on Thursday Negaunee comes to call and it’s the annual Teddy Bear Toss sponsored by First National Bank and Trust. Bring in a new stuffed toy and admission is only $1. When the Flivvers score their first goal of the game, toss your bear onto the ice. The bears then will go to agencies that deal with children in crisis to provide them comfort.
