The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a possible drowning on the Menominee
River near Twin Falls Hydroelectric Dam. Deputies arrived to find a 38-year-old female and
resident of Iron Mountain, in the water. The female was declared deceased on scene once
removed from the water.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by Florence County Sheriff’s Office, Dickinson County
Sheriff’s Office Drone Team, Breitung Township Fire Department, Sagola Township Fire
Department and Integrity Care EMS.
The complaint is still under investigation.
